Zaikon may have it right when he mentions setting goals. I set goals to increase my meager bankroll, and have since increased it by 9 fold, over a long period of time. As a result, I've moved from .25/.50 limit (I know, ridiculous, but it was in exercise in building a bankroll), to 2/4, this week. Obviously, I'm still far off from 30/60, BUT here is what I noticed. At 1/2 I got into a malaise. Once I got to 2/4, BOOM, I was right back into the excitement, like a junkie needed a stronger dose. So, here is a suggested goal: earn enough at 15/30 to play in 30/60 comfortably. This might liven up your 15/30 for a while, and once you've succeeded, the jump in stakes will hopefully increase the excitement even more.

On another note, after playing live at a casino, I usually don't find online poker as enticing. It's like eating at a buffet, and then coming home to some nuked tv dinner. But sooner or later, your appetite will return.Jordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12831176156389777158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7938736.post-1125517151024684052005-08-31T12:39:00.000-07:002005-08-31T12:39:00.000-07:00I can identify with much of what you say. I think...I can identify with much of what you say. I think for any activity for which you are going to commit a significant amount of time and/or effort, it is helpful to set goals and periodically review goals. Some of the steps along with way can at times be uninteresting and/or unfulfilling, but they may be a necessary evil in achieving the overall goals.
Do you have any goals related to poker? Are you doing the right things to reach those goals?dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06745833118021274985noreply@blogger.com
